At FSG, our number one priority is the safety and wellbeing of all of our employees, their families and our customers. To that end, FSG is committed to doing everything we can minimize the spread of the Coronavirus, while also balancing the needs of our employees to work and our customers to receive our products and services. To that end, FSG is taking steps to protect everyone we work with in every place we work. The Department of Homeland Security is the lead agency in the federal government that determines what types of businesses in America are essential and non-essential. To that end, FSG is considered a business necessary to support critical infrastructure in the United States and is, therefore, essential.
The most important thing to FSG is the safety and well being of our people and their families. Even if it means having to stop projects and work so our people or their communities can be safe. A number of the communities we serve have been hit hard by COVID-19 and FSG simply has to stop work until our customers and the leaders of those communities determine it is safe to start up again.
Being furloughed is a scary and heartbreaking thing. However, the number of resources available to furloughed employees right now is more than we’ve seen in recent history. To that end, each state will have different rules and processes. FSG encourages all employees that have been furloughed to take full advantage of the resources the government is offering as quickly as possible. Each FSG manager will give instructions on how employees can stay connected to FSG for work updates during their furlough.
